Candle Meditation

The candle meditation introduces beginning meditators to the practice of gazing at an object. The soothing voice and music guides you through the process of relaxation and helps you enter a meditative and focused state.

Tratak is the Ayur Vedic practice of gazing at an object and clearing the mind of extraneous thoughts. Having an object to look at helps people delve deeper in to their unconscious mind and find answers to puzzling questions or develop greater creativity and insight.

This meditation is one of the six forms of meditation found on the Taming the Stress Dragon Meditation CD.
