Online Naturopathic Consultations

To meet the needs of out-of-town patients, online consultations are now available with Dr. John Yim.

After an intake form has been completed, an appointment will be made for the patient and Dr. Yim to meet via Skype. This is a free global telephone service that allows you to make video calls via the internet. It is very easy to sign up with Skype.

Payments can be made via PayPal. The first consultation, which is 45 minutes in length, will cost $100. Follow up consultations are up to 30 minutes and cost $55.

The first consultation entails a thorough case history which covers chief complaints, history of the condition, signs and symptoms, recent blood tests and imaging, previous treatments, occupation, current nutrition, exercise, stress level, and so on.

If necessary, Dr. Yim might suggest asking your family doctor for further tests or imaging. Also,hair mineral analysis are available to test for toxic metal levels and levels of nutritional minerals.

A treatment protocol may be suggested towards the end of the first consultation or may be given after all test results are gathered.

Follow-up consultations are suggested after 3 or 4 weeks at which time the treatment plan may be changed as the patient improves.
