Preparing for your Electrodermal Organ Screening and Food Sensitivity Panel

Electrodermal testing is a painless, non-intrusive technique of screening the body for imbalances in bioenergetics, dysfunction and imbalances in organs and the bodies ability or inability to compensate to stress. This form of testing is also useful in discovering food sensitivities. Testing is accomplished by using acupuncture points on the hands or feet to “read” the body’s energetic state.

Organ Screening and Food Sensitivity Panels take approximately one hour each. In preparation:

  • Get a good nights rest the night before the testing.
  • Avoid coffee and any caffeinated products the night before and until testing has been completed.
  • Use minimal makeup the day of the test.
  • Avoid wearing jewelry.
  • Stop all supplements and medications that you can stop 24 hours before the test.
  • After completing the organ screening and food sensitivity testing, an appointment with Dr. Yim follows to discuss your test results and to prepare a treatment plan.
  • Dr. Yim will see you for a follow-up appointment one month after testing. Retesting will be done 2 months following the initial test on the elements which were identified followed by an appointment with Dr. Yim.
